Through doership, mine-ness and identification, the soul turns outward without pause, goes on producing states of attachment and aversion, and as the fruit of this has wandered through the four realms from beginningless time. Without avlokan, bhedgyan and swanubhav — direct self-experience — this wandering cannot end.
