કષાયોનું કારણ દર્શનમોહ અને દર્શનમોહનું કારણ અજ્ઞાન છે. સત્સંગની આરાધના અને સત્પુરૂષની આજ્ઞાને શિરોધાર્ય કરી અવલોકન/ભેદજ્ઞાન કળાથી અજ્ઞાનની નિવૃત્તિ કરવામાં આવે તો કષાયોનું બીજ - દર્શનમોહ - બળી જઈ સમકિતનાં પરિણામો ઉપજે અને મોક્ષમાર્ગમાં પ્રવેશ થાય.
અવલોકન વિના મુમુક્ષુદશા ન પ્રગટે, ભેદજ્ઞાન વિના જ્ઞાનદશા ન પ્રગટે, સ્થિરતા (જ્ઞાનદશા) વિના પરમાત્મદશા ન પ્રગટે.
Without avlokan, the mumukshu state does not become manifest. Without bhedgyan, the state of knowing does not become manifest. Without sthirata — steadiness — the state of the Paramatma does not become manifest.
